Background and Experience
Cann-Dee-Apples Cattery is a small cattery located in the spacious home of Joe and
Mary Jo Cannarella of Nashua, New Hampshire. Their cats are not caged, but live as
members of the family. Mary Jo, a professor of nursing, is presently retired. Joe is a
retired US Army Colonel and also a retired sales manager and pharmacist. Both have
backgrounds in medical sciences, and their education and interests have resulted in
this successful and excellent cattery.
Three years ago, Joe built a beautiful addition on the house for the cats and kittens.
Cann-Dee-Apples Cattery is a labor of love, not a kitten mill. The Cannarellas welcome
visitors, and so do the Cann-Dee-Apples cats and kittens! Call or e-mail for an
appointment. You will be introduced to the Cann-Dee-Apples cast of characters and
shown around the cattery. Both Joe and Mary Jo enjoy meeting people and assisting
them. Allow an hour for a visit.
History of Cann-Dee-Apples Cattery
Joe and Mary Jo began breeding Traditional Siamese cats and Traditional Colorpoint
Shorthairs in 1993. In 2000, they acquired their first Traditional Balinese queen. In
2002, they acquired their first Snowshoe queen. Joe and Mary Jo have gradually
added to their population of breeding cats, until now they maintain several cats,
consisting of stud cats and several breeding queens. When they started their breeding
program, they mainly had Sealpoint Traditional Siamese. Today, Cann-Dee-Apples
Cattery has a good variety of colors and three different breeds of cats.
