The Queens
Joe and Mary Jo began their breeding program in 1992. Over the past several years,
they have acquired new queens and retired older ones. Cann-Dee-Apples' breeding
queens come from genetically sound parents with good temperaments, which has
resulted in consistently healthy, sweet natured offspring. Inbreeding is never done.
Queens with a variety of coat colors have been introduced into the breeding program,
so there is a good selection of colors amongst the litters. More recently,
Cann-Dee-Apples has added Balinese and Snowshoe queens to the population of
breeding queens.

Cann-Dee-Apples lovely queens are retired when they reach age 5 years. New homes
are carefully selected. Follow-up phone calls ensure good adoption results. People
who have adopted retired Cann-Dee-Apples queens have been very happy with them,
and the cats have adjusted quickly to their new homes.
